Original brewery building from 1831

Thank you to all who attending our recent tour of Yuengling's original brewery in Pottsville.  The tour was well attended and we learned much of the history of the brewer, saw some of the canning operation, and sampled our favorite Yuengling beers.

Yuengling operates the original brewery, a more modern facility also in Pottsville, and a recently acquired brewery in Tampa FL.  Their beer is now in over 20 states having just entered Kentucky and Arkansas.  Yuengling produces a variety of beer including pilsner, lager, ale, and a porter.  During prohibition they survived in part from making ice cream, a product they have since brought back.

Check out some of the tour photos below for more details.
