TOPIC: THE LOGISTICS MARKET TODAY and ITS EXCITING CAREER PATHS
Jeff Tucker, CEO of Tucker Company Worldwide, and Carli Cook, Director of Operational Excellence at Tucker, will jointly present the state of the freight transportation and logistics industry, post-pandemic. Together, they will provide a look at what America's oldest privately held freight brokerage does in the supply chain, review the varied and exciting types of logistics careers available today, and the skill sets necessary to excel in them. Joining them for Q&A is Kevin Tritt, current Capacity Manager at Tucker.

Tucker Company Worldwide is the oldest privately held freight brokerage in North America, specializing in notoriously critical freight, like temperature-controlled, oversized, and high-value, high-security shipments.

Jeffrey G. Tucker, CTB - CEO, Tucker Company Worldwide

As third-generation CEO of Tucker Company Worldwide, Jeff oversees sales, marketing, and the company’s industry presence. He is the former chairman of the board of directors for the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) and the committee that has co-authored each edition of, TIA’s “Carrier Selection Framework” which provides guidance on the selection of
safe motor carriers. Jeff has testified before Congress on truck safety matters and was named by a USDOT Administrator to a special committee to advise USDOT on highway safety. He is on the board of directors for the National Industrial Transportation League and chairs its Highway Transportation Committee. Jeff is also chairman of the Transportation & Logistics Steering Committee for BSMA. Jeff's commentaries have appeared on CNBC and in The Wall Street Journal, Journal of Commerce, Logistics Management, Transport Topics, Defense Transportation Journal, and many others.

Carli Cook, CTB - Director Operational Excellence, Tucker Company Worldwide

As Director of Operational Excellence, Carli oversees both the company’s Customer Experience and Capacity departments and aligns their operations functions to achieve excellence in all freight transactions while delivering the utmost level of customer satisfaction. Carli joined Tucker in 2010 as a student intern and spent time working in several functions of the company while attending evening classes to receive an A.S. In Business Administration and a B.S. in Marketing from Rutgers University. Carli leveraged her time working through various departments at Tucker to set herself up for success in her current role as Director. She has a strong focus on team development and creating scalable processes that will support a growing organization.

Kevin Tritt, CTB – Capacity Manager, Tucker Company Worldwide

Kevin joined the Tucker team as a student intern in 2015 while simultaneously pursuing his degree at Rutgers University. Kevin received a B.S. in Marketing from Rutgers University in 2016 and accepted a full-time position with Tucker as a Capacity Specialist. Demonstrating his strong leadership capabilities, Kevin climbed the ranks within the Capacity department to his current role as Capacity Manager. Kevin plays an integral role as one of the leaders of the company’s Capacity department and focuses heavily on forming carrier relationships to build a reliable capacity network to support customer needs.
