Please join the Traffic Club of the Lehigh Valley for a bus tour of PhilaPort, 2020’s fastest growing port in North America.  Philadelphia is an important gateway for Lehigh Valley shippers to global markets, so come get a close up look at the inner workings and hear from the experts. 

When: Thursday, September 16

Tour bus departs at 8:00AM from the Rt 33 and William Penn Hwy 'Park & Ride'. (2-3pm arrival back to Bethlehem)

Price: $45/person

Port Tour attendees will visit:

·         Port Authority headquarters

·         The Packer Avenue Marine Terminal (pictured below), the port’s premier container terminal       

•   SouthPort Auto Terminal – $120 million state of the art Vehicle Processing Center and storage area

·         Pennsylvania Forest Products Center – PhilaPort handles almost 1 million tons of forest products yearly (walk-through)

·         The CSX Intermodal Greenwich Rail Yard

Attendees will hear from port and rail staff about their operations and learn how to better utilize these facilities.  Price includes bus transportation, beverages and lunch.
